There is much to like, I just found the two central characters a bit less appealing than I hoped. But that's all part of the honesty of the film I guess!ilovethatfilmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11882133059882238037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726917913952308047.post-32031445649590584142012-02-24T00:45:49.201-08:002012-02-24T00:45:49.201-08:00@asrap The Artist is definitely the best of the lo...@asrap The Artist is definitely the best of the lot. It may not educate people in the same way as Hugo's film history lesson but it does make you see the joy of early film and the importance of visuals over dialogue in storytelling.ilovethatfilmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11882133059882238037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726917913952308047.post-40971718793801591892012-02-24T00:41:51.267-08:002012-02-24T00:41:51.267-08:00@Kristin The Grey is silly... very silly! Then again, I think I'm alone on this one.
The Grey: Neeson is great in this role and the film itself is just brutal, but also gives us Dan O.http://www.dtmmr.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726917913952308047.post-79185262480293922472012-02-23T15:53:23.776-08:002012-02-23T15:53:23.776-08:00I've wanted to see all three but haven't h...I've wanted to see all three but haven't had the chance yet... But the one I most want to see is "The Artist", not just because of good reviews and awards buzz but also because having recently watched "Hugo" and its story of Georges Melies, I'm really interested in watching more silent movies...asrap virtuosohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06619196693619042618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726917913952308047.post-82674855613233884702012-02-23T08:32:54.763-08:002012-02-23T08:32:54.763-08:00I've only seen The Artist in the list, and I l...I've only seen The Artist in the list, and I loved it. Oh, and believe it - I have a friend who definitely did not like The Artist, as well as a couple other friends who thought I liked it too much. Oh well, I guess everyone isn't going to feel the same way. Still, I loved it.

Like Crazy has been on my list to see, and I think I would enjoy it, although it doesn't surprise Kristinhttp://alleyesonscreen.comnoreply@blogger.com
