7 x 7 Award

Massive thanks to Scott from Front Room Cinema for bestowing me with this award!

1: Tell everyone something about yourself that nobody else knows

Keeping it movie related, I think the reason I first got into movies was when I got a small role in the film The Girl in a Swing at about the age of six.  When I got onto that set, I realized that there was ‘behind-the-scenes’ of a film and was instantly and forever fascinated!  Then, none of my scenes as Tom the vicar’s son were left in the film and my parents wouldn’t let me watch it anyway because it was so full of sex and nudity.  Bummer.

2: Link to a post I think fits the following categories:

The Most Beautiful Piece:
I’m not sure I do 'beautiful' but my review of Life in a Day is a review of a beautiful film.

Most Helpful Piece:
I’d like to think my call to arms is quite useful for anyone who wants Lovefilm and Universal to sort out their dispute.

Most Popular Piece:
This one on the new series This is England 88 has by far the most hits but this one on my favourite films of the noughties has the most comments.

Most Controversial Piece:

Most Surprisingly Successful Piece:
I was surprised by how many people read, liked and got involved with this piece on ‘the cinema experience’.

Most Underrated Piece:
Well back in the wilderness days of this blog, I wrote about book to film adaptations which is a very big personal interest of mine.  Not sure many read it so I guess that makes it underrated.

Most Pride-worthy Piece:
I very much enjoyed writing this piece about brilliant British films and feel like after the great year for Brit film that was 2011, it could do with an update!

3: Pass this on to 7 fellow bloggers:

My humble apologies if you've all done this already but I'm just trying to pass this on to 7 bloggers that are likely to read this and then might be able to continue the meme!
