Cannes Film Festival Day 6 (Monday)

I saw four films on Monday at the Cannes Film Festival:

Foxcatcher (featuring a brilliantly transformed Steve Carrell)
Cartoonists - Footsoldiers of Democracy (a disappointing documentary)
Xenia (Greek melodrama)
Life Itself (excellent Roger Ebert documentary)

The screening of Life Itself was interrupted when the projection suddenly died. Luckily director Stave James and Ebert's widow stepped up and took part in an impromptu Q&A session before they got the film rolling again. Daniel Bruhl was also in the audience and had lots of selfies taken with fans while we waited for the film to restart.
